IBD Adventures Team Dia 2 Yangbian Grande Muralha

seção Yangbian da Grande Muralha, viveu até sua descrição numa área muito remota e áspera da parede.Donate to our Canada Helps Charity

A beleza do campo circundante feita acessível apenas pela colocação de The Wall, fez a viagem áspera vale a pena o trabalho extra. We went a bit of off the beaten path route finding added adventure, time, and a little risk. Team members came together to support each other through these small challenges, making what will be our longest and most challenging day on the wall, more enjoyable and an easy task.

Walking to the Valley floor passing along agricultural land, the hum of hundreds of bee hives, watching farmers work their fields of apricot trees, planting corn, and sticky rice was breathtaking.

To realize how effective their farming practices are, for example soon those hives will be put to use to pollinate their fields. The pride in there eyes as they explained to the front of the group what and how they harvest and how their families have lived and farmed here for generations.

About 100 kilometers west of Beijing, in Huailai County, are pieces of the ancient Great Wall, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), as well as the country’s largest ancient post station.

With fewer visitors and a less commercialized feel, this area offers traces of the past without the crowds that constantly remind you that you’re stuck in the present.

Xiaonan Xinbu Town, located in the southeast of Huailai County, Hebei Province, is about 120 kilometers from Beijing. The ancient town is near Guanting Lake in the north and connects to Dingdu Mountain in the south. It has many historical sites. The most magnificent is Yangbian Great Wall

The seventh day of our walk covered a much flatter section of the wall, but still included a number of 100-foot high hills.
